About the Team

Proto’s team is extremely global with 92% BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Colour) and 50% female members working across over ten countries. We’re a remote team of self-starting and entrepreneurial NLP engineers, SaaS sales professionals, and digital nomads. Our management operates established processes for cross-cultural and timezone collaboration while limiting Zoom to an hour a day.


Job Summary 


  • Establish and maintain the technical vision, roadmap, and development cycle of Proto Mobile SDK; 
  • Produce documentation for clients and internal users; 
  • Coordinate with product manager, platform team, QA, and UX designers. Create spec documentation in line with business requirements; and,
  • Other tasks deemed within the framework of the position. 


Requirements 

  • BSc in computer science, engineering, or related field;
  • Experience working with a remote teams; 
  • 3+ years in iOS/Android development; 
  • Adept in mobile architecture and patterns. That includes programming languages (Swift, Java, Kotlin), tools (IDEs, Gitlab, Jira), mobile platforms, and application frameworks; 
  • Experience in CI/CD; 
  • Strong attention to detail; and, 
  • Hands-on technical expertise.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B solution and SaaS software; 
  • Experience in developing real-time messaging chatroom; and,
  • Experience in developing multilingual user interfaces.
